They say ignorance is bliss

But how bliss is ignorance when your turning your head to the wrong things

 

I loved you

The words are nothing but emptiness setting of fire alarms now a days

Trying to ignore the fact that I saw this coming is painful

Floating on cloud nine and dealing with this heartache are two different things now

Because we all know I’d rather be dead then do either one

 

Light means nothing to me anymore

When I see the light I think about we could have been

The darkness carries me in

Gently planting a kiss on my face to tell me it will be ok

 

Not knowing the name of yourself is quite nerve-racking

Assuming I’m one thing but actually am the other make it 1000 times worse.

 

I suppose it doesn’t matter who or what I am

A dark void will always be hanging over my head

Trying to suck me in and demolish my existence for good

This is simple, but extraordinarily moving me right now. I don't know if I have been in the same situation sometime ago and intentionally forgot, or if you have just made it so relatable that I can't help but feel IT myself. And what I said just spells, 'YOU ARE A GREAT WRITER, AND THIS IS ONE DAMN GOOD PIECE.'
