deafened defeated heart

deafened defeated heart

A Poem by Shirlena
"

Auntie loves you

"

unburden your pining heart

allow the source of wisdom to impart

something of profound statement to you

as long as you expose your emotions to darkness

no light can discover you

you will always be angered

continue on your path of sadness

your young days will seem too distant and old

the one who created you is king of happiness

wanting you not to thrive just to hang on

it’s wrong…to refuse an olive branch

to serve as pure libation to quench a hungered heart

let some one who truly adores you…favor you

with earnest truth and wisdom

heal your down trodden heart

Olive branch is usually reserved for peace and reaching out to another. You have used it for the soul's torment and ray of hope in forgiveness which is wonderful. People in our life and family( some ) can really make a difference and give us advices on how to proceed from their experiences with these matters...All wonderful...:)..............
