yellow pale fascination

yellow pale fascination

A Poem by Shirlena
"

more than a beautiful surface...inspired by Norma Jean - Marilyn

"

who’s breast beneath fluff

spun buttercup candy

man talk insidious brutish clueless

figure only comeliness

savant orbit… undulating about her

emanating child like thoughts with woman’s glow

noble and learned…more than most wanted to contemplate

you man…men simply inquiring of curves and chemise

never asking beyond material

conglomerate lovely…reversed black and blue bruises

from misinterpretations…yours

distant language where death is slayer protector

at last authentic perfection... unbreakable

a whisper

porcelain yellow

forsaken

fascinating

So true and wonderful what you have shared here with your listeners and readers. Normal is boring indeed for we need to stand out, to shine with different light, to paint with unique colors. Authentic perfection is not breakable and leave a lasting impression and inspiration. Excellent...:)....................

Yes, a women is much more than she seems. I was inspired to write this tiny gift poem for you which you may keep as your own:

Looking Deeper

Surfaces of land and sea,
or the clouds that mask the sky
are not all that we may see
through a deep discerning eye.

Looking deeper we’ll find free
swimming creatures passing by,
tangled roots that feed each tree,
and bright galaxies on high.

People are blind at times, and that facade seems tarnished in the light of day...if you look deeper you always find flesh and blood, just like the rest of us. I love Marilyn by the way, you always put your own unique twist on an old perspective. Great read.

A lot of emotion and lilting imagery in this piece Shirlena...there is certainly an underbelly of bitterness regarding genders, though I should point out that not all men are like this...we're not all brutes and some of us actually do have a clue. But I do like this piece very much...it's the first one I've read by you but I will definitely be checking out more of your work soon :)
