"

Pondering ideas commonly felt regarding GOD and the poem came a running

"

brush never wandering

dyed me orange yellow and red

understanding I am those colors unlike any colors

intuitive of lust for rising

but in union we are of bluish mistakes and lavender

as aware how darkness is supposed to be

underneath no thorough bred cause he looks most like Eve…

unknowingly having some serpent

somewhere along those trenches and allies up in through

buried inside… wedged in corners…stare harder

embrace resemblance to the master of pollutants

ozone we inhale that’s has failed you and me…

children of Adam from birth

don’t blame this mess in here on God…cause he is

the ever after long before

unlikely caller of disaster to front porches

gathering disgust piling it to the point of hot volcano tips erupting in faces

HE wraps pretty things.. sights for the cornea

orange red yellow scenic

attractive bluish lavenders opaque

silver onyx a redeeming shade

all needing saving from ourselves

and have we gained firm hold on life

that we imagine thinking

as we should continuing slaving

for there the PAINTER strokes his commands

Author's Note

Shirlena
From the idea of GOD being the giver of every good and perfect present (a scriptural quotation): Would this concept also include we who are enslaved to the wages of sin, him taking in death those we cherish so much as part of those "perfect" gifts. Something to ponder. Image called "Here Comes The Sun" www.ebsqart.com

Your poem gets me thinking about bright colors. Death is a dark empty cup that's all the better filled with bright colors. The void attracts bright colors. Bright colors flow from their mysterioius source to their sink. Bright colors consist of useful energy. It seems to me that you're considering God to be the source of bright colors. I'll think about that when I go outside today where all my colorful flowers are basking in the sunlight.

Well that's much more than something to just ponder about or on. To see beauty within the world we live in is not always an easy task... of course it is for me, I live in paradise where colours blend and bend with the four winds... But for sure our creator has given us refuge, you just have to realize it's staring you in the face at every turn, beauty is everywhere... yes, even in death... James xx
