Call Sign

Call Sign

A Poem by John the Baptist Unbaptised

Your pain silhouetted
against the night sky
Is a call sign to my heart

And I am a moth
devoted to the convection

{As flashing turns to constant glow}

We know it is within our hearts
that we will light the convergent fires
Of the conscious world and the
unconscious world to come

And yet we are allured inescapably
to the celestial hierarchies
Knowing they will never truly
Compensate us with
the accretion of love’s influence

as moths, we need to gravitate towards a light we can get near to, aspirations, like the stars, too high allow us to fail and say, what the hell, was too much to ask for anyway....
But if we can get close enough to that which is attainable...we can find success.
Love this one John.

I agree John. If am going to the right way than this one means, love is beyond physical, technical, practical issues. It's the transmitter among the hearts and when it's situated strongly between two souls, when one is in pain, another's sixth sense receives the call sign. This is Uniquely written. I'm amazed by the very first two lines and the first two lines of the last stanza. Thanks for sharing!🍀
