Stumble in the Dark

Stumble in the Dark

A Poem by Sami Vish

The dog dug up another bone

I dreamed you alive
Seeing you everywhere
That moment was so real
Where are you?
Can't seem to get this right
Were you ever really there?
That dream so vivid
I could feel your body heavy on mine
That moment so passionate
In my mind's eye you moaning
Then I wake up
So disillusioned at first
"Wait, what?"
I've never met you
Do you even exist?
I can barely see your face now
So clear as day before
Now you're barely there
Wait for me
I swear I'll find you
If you're real
I swear will meet one day
And I will have you
