Our Story

Our Story

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

There was a girl and a boy

who lived very far from one another

their essences traveled from one side of the world

to the other in waves of elation, delight-

waves faster than the speed of sound,

they traveled though ethereal space and time

into one another's embrace

rising to one another as the Phoenix

as their astral bodies melded into a unity

that physical bodies could not equal-

it was a melding of sweet revelation

where no words needed to be spoken

as a million things were said without speaking a word.

They felt transcending, pure, unequivocal, absolute happiness

as they never knew before,

so great, so pure was their happiness

that they were dreadfully scared of spoiling it

in any way, lest it would burst

like a bubble, so they knew not whether they

would ever meet in real life yet they held hope

that one day they might gaze into one another's eyes,

see a vision of each other's souls.

They looked forward with barely controlled excitement

to gazing deeply into, tasting one another

perceiving a vision of paradise and escstasy there

which in turn would bring them closer to divinity

a sweet paradise on earth-

they couldn't keep their hands from one another

would kiss, lick, gaze deeply into one another's eyes

all day and night long

as their minds' eyes met as One

they spun into the Universe in electric azure blue

while their simultaneous orgasm lasted for eternity,

filling the entire cosmos with its energy,

its bliss creating supernovas, shooting stars

within space and time while

his ejaculata became the nebulae

her seed became the stars.

Together these birthed a new galaxy

amidst the cosmos as their cries of ecstasy

reverberated through the space time continuum

forever and ever joining the infinite

wisdom of the planets and galaxies beyond

as their Love became the Universe

the Universe became Them,

their love gave birth to the Universe

the Universe gave birth to Them

and in the Beginning was the End

in the End was the Beginning.

Sidartha.. this speaks to every readers soul.. of gods and goddesses divine in their own making-
creation being the catalyst for what affection abounds in stars.. the nebuala skies of eternity
i enjoyed the way your passion sends chills through the body..percieving celestial heights.. with ambition
describing the cosmic throes of ecstacy in painted prose.. revealing what becomes of "stardust"

ethereal romance.. your metaphysical projections wisp auras with magical winds.. the way distances
come together when two souls look at the moon simultaniously.. describing desire unbound..
traveling- reaching- enlightening space and time..to what becomes of revelations.. loved this

describing....the undescribable

simple yet complex...deep ...yet attainable
so within...yet very beyond ourselves
well one....as only one who has had the experience could pen...
with all-the-light
I have grown to expect from your work

Amazing and I appreciate the astral implications (which I have experienced also). Imagery is literally out of this world. Liked all your expression--not just the quotable lines, but I was really struck by these:
Together these birthed a new galaxy

amidst the cosmos as their cries of ecstasy

reverberated through the space time continuum

This was written with such a heavy heart. As the words drip of emotions and I am always so pleased to find that. I love to be left to feel and have words course through my veins as I feel connected to them. I truly thought you capture the essence of a place we who have loved and waited for love to see us has felt. Sensual and very capturing. The way you drew each reader in with the desire to see what may unfold there in front of them. Feeling as we are seeing something that we should not but can not nor would not turn our eyes away just to witness the passion bloom and give way to it own desires. Refreshing to the knowledgeable heart seeing the spirit and soul combine to embody the power and possibilities of uncertain.

Great Job!!!!!!!

WOW...this is so profound it speaks a multitude of emotion...when two hearts transcend, love has a way of rising above the limits and going beyond...NO RESTRICTIONS...your words beautifully illustrate this notion

THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS SPLENDID PIECE OF POETRY...I reread this several times; I must honestly say when a love this great is involved there are visions of an infinite paradise

It is the story of Genesis. It is the story of all. I like how you include the fear of loss with the joy of finding such a love. I think we have two core emotions, love and fear. All others derive from them. I don't know if you agree with that or not but you do make a good case for it nonetheless. You impress me more every day.

Great job.

Man... you know, I always know I'll get real good poetry with any of your work. Another brilliant piece, it takes you one way and then throws you another and makes you feel confused whilst you're nodding your head in agreement. Incredible ending as well.

Wow! This is a perfect poem of a perfect love, two people meeting and creating whole universes together. The imagery you've used is perfect! The flow is supple, and the pace wasn't too fast or anything. I love how you've compared love and feelings of emotion to the sublime stars- it just demonstrates how infinite the power of love really is. Fantastic work :D

There is alot going on in this poem, which I like. I particularly like the creation of of all things being linked to sexual intercourse. I have head it said that all essence is is man entering woman. I actually experienced something quite similar to the very opening of this poem. I dated a woman who went away to England on vacation and when our thoughts were on each other, which was often as we were quite in love we could feel each other's energies pulling each other from across the ocean. This poem has some very good description and the cosmos stuff I enjoy also, like michael. The only thing that I find that this poem needs is some good chopping for wordiness. You should check out winningwriters.com for contests. It lists many contests in the US and UK and check out urbis.com for even better critiques sometimes than I can give.
