Hands

Hands

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

I have sought

a lifetime

for hands like yours

the ones that take mine

in yours

kiss them,

lick them

love them

as if they were your own.

You touch me like no other

in a myriad of ways

 that are loving,

wild and unforgiving.

I want to hear your heart

beat every night

your member swell beneath

my hot breath and tongue.

You have eclipsed me

like the luminescent moon

that shone upon us

as we walked arm and arm.

My dear, you mean more

to me than

you could imagine-

seperated from you

I long for your kind graces

your smiling face

and the the sweet smell

of our coffee in the morn.

Typo corrections: "eclipsed" and "separated."

"You touch me like no other/in a myriad of ways/that are loving,/wild and unforgiving."

I like the juxtaposition of "loving" with "wild and unforgiving" -- speaks to the current connecting heart with libido.

"Incandescent" is one of my favorite words -- but it is heat-generating, and I find it difficult to resolve with "moon." Tho' the lunar body is a romantic icon, it speaks of yearning delicacies at midnite; it is the sun which is incandescent. Perhaps "luminescent," or a comparable syllabic qualifier.

All the rest flows sweet and true, in a twilight of meaning between physicality and psychic yearning.

Beautiful piece. Makes the reader belong. Great connections and emotions.

This is very very well written i liked it because it gave me a since that you meant every word that you said that and that it was so heartfelt.

It takes a special perception to feel the warmth of the Moon and this poem has described it well. The sweet smell of coffee is just the right line to let the reader down gently. Very nicely done piece of poetry in a style that I can fully enjoy.

Extremely vivid and wildly entertaining. I've read seduction from a lot of poets here, but you capture a certain grace and even a certain edge with some of your descriptions! Very well laid out and expressed. Loved it!

Again it is the texture of the words as well as their meaning that gives me such a sense of sensual wonder.

This one reminds me of Orvid. It has all the spice and seductive qualities about it while retaining that little something extra that speaks to love more than desire.

Nice work Sid
