"

Ten years ago

the planes, they crashed.

Ten years ago,

we drowned in ash.

Ten years ago

we lived in fear.

Ten years ago

the sky rained tears.

Ten years ago

hundreds died.

Ten years ago

millions cried.

Ten years ago

the fire raged.

Ten years ago

one terrible day.

And ten years since,

the memory lives

as many are honored

for all that they did.
