ANOMLAY CITY

In the whimsical circus world of Anomaly City performers are everything, and it is Seventeen-year-old Aretta Donatello's last year to make the prestigious level of Elite or stop performing for good. But when she turns down the Ringmaster's only son, her chances for even making it to the competition are shattered when he gives her the lowest score possible. That is, until a mysterious boy enters the picture. Eighteen-year-old Ishra Doyle is far too plain to be from Anomlay City, because he is not. He has illegally traveled from Industria, a cold, grey city, far more advanced than Anomaly to find his mother, who disappeared years ago. Aretta and Ishra make a pact to work together to both get what they want. This tale is told in both point of views of Aretta and Ishra.
