Garbage

Garbage

A Poem by Chase Dylan
"

Baggage...

"
Garbage
 okay, got it
Garage-band gallivanting with capes fluttering, cops chasing
caught-flossing between innings, despite needing to win winnings of side-bets on the side
hustling on the side all the time, its back to hussies on the side, jaws open-wide
Wait... Banned-from cussing?
 okay, got it
Gotta think-quick... my verbs can be-like...
 Phoenix-re-birthing-zen-at-my-cursing-will-he-need-learning
But no, I'm of earning my own stripes
and depending on days unfurling, I will curl back my fist and smash-strike
despite the respite in my tone, drips of despise 'n' spite still spitefully in throat
I will stay still to avoid blow-back frequencies lit by mescalines perplexing efforts
damn masculine tethers to herculine efforts
Her 'n' me backwards...
Curve of the rapture grabbed at the slaughter for conjure its polite burn
but recycled lines can harm-yeh, so read-on-higher
To strobe too far from ode-light
define lines when you write, don't hide-blind from the less-designed
its not the comments that carry
Its the voice
its not the spectators that are remembered
 Its the stage
its the action release traction avoided barrel-rolls fathoms-to-go
Yet still
I fear the end of...
Turn the page

Well recycling garbage is big business. We can even generate energy from garbage. To some it is garbage, to others it is tresures. We are all actors on the stage as your state marvelously. We have a voice or a say in matters. Life has its pages, its chapters to be written and maybe published. Our low ebb or high ebb stories unfold day by day. Your poem says many and conveys many.

One man's garbage is another girl's treasure...you can laugh with fear and cry with pleasure...plastics fuel perpetual motion to create an island in the ocean.

You've taken bits and pieces and turned them into a cohesive thought on recycling words and people.

I quite like it.

Ultra musical, masculine and multi-faceted words.. style as ever interesting! You must be related to Margie and bad bunny, would make a great combo!. Life and Language have their own pile of garbage: words and actions without glory;, themes discussed but discordant, many and much interaction without rhyme or reason. Could find more so needs re-reading - will return.

is another man's riches...i like this much...the metaphor of recycling and how we recycle words to create more and more poems...
often we are afraid of the response from those who want to trash us...and yet they do it out of spite and often jealousy...because they can't recycle themselves.
crazy good write,
