Dripping Off You

Dripping Off You

A Poem by Kristine Ferg

gently do you hold me,
beneath your starry eyes
as you glisten,
within me listen, to me
yes, I want it all.

We are the water that drips from our skin
when all else is turned to dust
lust will do no favor,
to the love, we share a-more.

For love,
I love you longer still
I love you stronger then the dark to light,
yet I hold you long, in spirit I
hold you soft, on gentle lips I
love you longer then this life,
its true,
that this will never end in sorrow.

Another, one of my fav. poems!

Loved the lines: "We are the water that drips from our skin
when all else is turned to dust"

How true. Seemed, you always have much to pen on.. & get bled in your own aspiration-ally.. thought provokingly "grown" love-vibes. Sounds intriguing. The length of your poetry, pattern you write across & the way you so smoothly let your realistic feelings leap down ov'r the page from your very heart is all what makes your stuffs more productive to get waved along. I save this poetry to my library!
