Behind many faces

a fake mask hides

soon it begins to crack

revealing true forms inside

Behind painted lips

lies drip from loose tongues

where fake smiles are sewed on

shadowing truth underneath closed eyes

Behind this masquerade

deceiving faces on parade

who wears their true mask

and who plays a charade
