Everything Fades, I guess...

Everything Fades, I guess...

A Poem by Sin
"

There's a (sort of) hidden message.

"

If I ever feel your breath on my neck

Will I be overcome by fear?

And if I ever start to fall again

Saving myself won’t be an option.

Rest isn’t something that comes easy

Always, always, nightmares plague me and…

Peace is just something I live without

Everything fades, eventually

Darkness is just hard to get rid of.

You are correct. Most things good and bad fade away. Some fade away and become good memories. The bad ones are the lesson we teach our children not to do. Time is a funny thing. We look at the world different with time added to a life. I like this poem. Made me think. Goal of a good writer.

You and me feel the same way. You are a good writer but you can do a rhyme scheme or meter. Anyways good job.

I like it. The way you said so much with so little is impressive. I also like that is isn't linear, in that you go from a conversational section at the beginning to a introspective analysis in the end. Very well done.

I really enjoyed this. It has a sadness that is familiar I think to a lot of people and can be related easily. You've great talent!
