Forever friends are certain and sure
No matter the distance they will always endure
Faithful to listen and encourage with love
What a precious gift from our Father above

Days, months and years can slowly roll by
But the care of a Forever Friend never dies
Each time that you're with them or speak on the phone
You know in a minute that you're not alone

In glad times or stress they will hold up your arms
And comfort and laugh and shield you from harm
They are Gods hands extended when you need them the most
And the heart of a Forever Friend will stay close

Precious few can compare or even come close
To filling their shoes, that's just how it goes
They make you laugh and sometimes you cry
But they always stay true as time passes by

Lifes greatest treasures are Forever Friends
And wherever life takes you or wherever you end
Hearts knit together that go the distance with each
Will always be close; just within reach
