Temporary Madness

Temporary Madness

A Poem by Nicholas Hagenschneider

I’m not good enough for anyone but death

yet she is nothing more than a cruel tease

so still, i try to hold my breath

i can feel her embrace begin to squeeze

she carelessly whispers in my ear

she runs her cold finger down my cheek

her words are nothing but sincere

leaving me in a state so undeniably weak

but she is my love, my everything

my temporary goddess

i await the cure that she brings

my temporary madness

I really enjoyed reading this! Personifying Death is always a great topic. The only thing I saw wrong was that you spelled "sincire" wrong. Sincere is the correct spelling.
But this was really interesting to read! Just loved the whole thing from start to finish. Great job :)

Thank you! I'll have to fix that mistake.
