The Fact

A feeling I have sometimes, that I've been reminded of constantly throughout my life. I thought it deserved mention.

Let me write the next fight full of terabytes

I’ve got a slight advantage, sandwiched between creativity and madness

No sadness, push back the bad s**t, flush it down the toilet, boil it, soil it

And grow good thoughts from the rot like foliage

Take you back to the past, I’ll bet we’ll have a blast, prejudice up your a*s, maybe we’ll stop for gas

At least it’s cheap, and we won’t have to deal with the freaks in this trash heap

Because presently menaces be around the streets, some live like kings while others sleep on concrete

But either find it hard to beat the lack of love, not enough, you think that’s rough? Tough?

We’ve been cuffed to our hate, fate, create a better world for the next boys and girls

Because I’m about to hurl, and as we whirl around our cities and towns everyone is frowning

Allowing selfishness to get them pissed and people wish that life could be better, when they make it hard on others

In the 1970’s we were lovers, brothers, what happened to that?

Have we spat out the best taste of life we ever had?

Are we not glad to be around other sentient human beings?

Because that’s what it seems

Dreams and moonbeams sheen a gleam that you can never have

At best this is a fad, but I don’t think it’s going to fade away, it’s here to stay

And change the way we live today

The grey blade shady and cold and old as the icebergs that disappeared as our hearts melted has pierced mine

Fine, I’m crying, I’m out of line I’ll sign out and go home, I’ve known that no one cares, shares, is fair, paired together, never ever again my friend.

It doesn’t matter whether you feel for a people who are shallow, light as a feather

Because everyone other than you thinks they’re better
