The Truth is Hard To Swallow

The Truth is Hard To Swallow

A Poem by Sarah Morgan
"

What was on my mind this morning - what was on my heart so I wrote it down - It's about my faith & how I've not thanked the Lord enough.

"
Today I woke up with this hurt in my heart
Am I playing a role? Was I cast in this part in this world of destruction trusting ...am who they say I am? Am I all I can be?

When the truth is Jesus is the only one who can see
See my pain, slay these giants in my life
Getting tired of this fight, but I still FIGHT, I still FIGHT!
This road isn't easy, but this road leads to greatness
Greater than th
e diamonds and winning tickets promised fortunes to play with.

Need a doctor, call my doctor he's not just worried about his wealth.
Not all doctors are, but some just think about themselves
Mine walked on water, he made the blind see
He was laid out, stretched upon that cross, and died for me.

See I don't say how thankful I am enough outside of this interweb
It's a shame when your facebook status says 'Christian', but you only act Christian on the internet.

Don't shape yourself to fit this mold of others
Be who Christ wants you to be, Love one another
Be a bold Christian - Not a Christian UNDERCOVER.
