What is to say?

What is to say?

A Poem by Skelasoldier
"

I really don't know where this came from Please be aware that this was not direct at anything or any group of people

"

What is to say that in this life

You will become rich and have no strife

What is to say that in your death

People will follow in your steps

What is to say that in your after-life

You were wrong and I was right

What is to say that whilst you burn

You will cry for what you yearned

What is to say

What is to say

What is to say

How many more must be killed

To make your point around the world

Innocent blood has been spilled

For nothing but religious war

Spread it down into the ground

Whisper not but a sound

Of the torment you can inflict

With just a snap of your wrist

What is to say that I will break

Under the strain of lonlieness

What is to say you will smile

Under the mask of guile

What is to say

What is to say

What is to say

I love this! It;s a wonderful point. More people have been killed in the name of religion that any other reason in the history of the world. Religious war doesn't determine who is right, only who is left, and what is to say that either side right? I do not like how you repeat "What is to say" so many times in a row like that, but otherwise I loved the poem. I would suggest only repeated it twice in a row.

You ask a very important question with this poem.

I love this poem! Sorry, I'm about to sound really sappy, but this poem is super touching. And, unlike some people, you love to write, and actually practice it. People can tell that stuff, like whether or not you actually put capitals, paragraphs, and correct punctuation. Lots of people, though, do not. I'll strike up a conversation on writing, and they'll say,
"Yeah, I love it, and I'm a pro writer!"
If we're at school and in the middle of writing something, however, they'll make that statement, turn to me, and ask,
"How do you spell ______?"
Here are some of the words I've gotten asked on:
-joyful
-raise
-screech
-does
Needless to say, it's insanely annoying. :]
