Sorry

Sorry

A Poem by Skylah Ginette

Sunlight ripples

As sunbeams stream

On this rushing river.

Flower galaxies stretch on

Beneath apathetic feet,

Stifled in their blooming beauty.

Rainbows cloud the sky,

Hidden to the naked eye

As the earth turns away

From this day.

Meteors explode

In our night-

We see across this world

To the next dimension.

Then, we remember

Our universe.

We thank the stars

And apologize to the earth.
