well i think it speaks for itself

His Words

They can heal hearts

create an illusion of peace and love

put me back together when i fall apart

my heart flies hearing that kind voice

but they grow darker, ever so darker

His words stab 

like a knife to my heart

they repeat over and over

yet i dare not make a peep

thus the blood just runs down

destroying my white dress

no it's not the pain he causes

it's the words that replay in my mind

the words that can't be taken back

the words my heart won't forget

the words... just the words

he acts like the world is perfect

he wants me to hug him and forget

he wants my heart not to hurt

and the memories to just disappear

but they'll never go away

the words he said

as he took my innocence 

taking all but the memories

like

"123"

and 

"you're prettier when you smile"

It is so true that words can hurt more than physical injuries, for those heal but when someone we care about makes us feel bad it is a betrayal that is hard to recover from.

.. well ill have you know, i really like it! it is so very powerful. and i understand it more now,(my grammer:P. makes me look so stupid), that i can think clearly.. :P of course the end most likely is a personal reference(which is totally okay), but it, initself makes it such an impacting ending cuz it makes you think about "the words", I ask myself questions like "does that last line connect with the title?". i dont know if that is a good way to explain it but the ending is just so beautiful. This is one of my favorite poems, b'cuz it has so many elements that i like in a poem...
1st Amazing Repetition(the words...) of what you want the reader to focus on (which i love)
2nd the visual colors such as the line "thus the blood just runs down destroying my white dress"
XD i love it! and i really like dramatic, dark, or anything with a serious mood
3rd it draws you in from the first stanza which has broad meaning then into somthing very personal in the next stanza and keeps up the intensity til it hits the end,
4th powerful lines all the way through esp"His words stab
like a knife to my heart" no line seems less improtant they are all needed to make the story strong
5th it does not rhyme, and i like poetry both ways, well it has alot of slant rhyming,

if i had to make critical judgments? well just ask but it would be hard to come up with some.

idk if you love it as much as i do, ps i remember giving it 100/100 but that was jus cuz i did not read it enough to pass proper judgment, but after reading it a ton, it totally deserved it!

wow:P my 3rd and 4th reasoning was pretty much the same, its hard to review long messages, on writers cafe, when youre typing in a tiny box that i keep on trying to resize it, (i had some problems)

aha i love the way you talk about my poem and i completely understood what you were saying and if you'd like to know the back story behind this go ahead and message me but yea this poem was written not from my heart but my soul and the sad part is it is all based on reality but thank you for the amazing comment it made me feel great :)
