Those Who Refuse to Weep

Those Who Refuse to Weep

A Poem by Sleeping Crow
"

A poem with meaning to YOU and no one else.

"

A raging flame that refuses to dim

A soulless devil that refuses redemption

A restless spirit that refuses to pass

A roaring thunder that refuses to settle

A howling wolf that refuses a pack

A crashing wave that refuses to calm

A darkened crow that refuses a murder

A loaded gun that refuses to fire

A sharpened knife that refuses to cut

A mysterious God that refuses to answer

A redeeming Devil that refuses to condemn

A blooded heart that refuses to beat

A rattled mind that refuses to think

A burning star that refuses to shine

A model heir that refuses the inheritance

A wakeless thought that refuses to dream

A senile fool that refuses to shout

A gloomy clown that refuses to smile

A daunting warrior that refuses to fight

A beautiful mistress that refuses to love

A powerful king that refuses to reign

A man of ignorance that refuses to doubt

A hollow Death that refuses to reap

A holy man that refuses to pray

A dense fog that refuses to clear

A heavy rain that refuses to lighten

A withered rose that refuses to bloom

A strong wind that refuses to weaken

A melodic tune that refuses to play

A steel horse that refuses to ride

A broken mirror that refuses to reflect

A blackened shadow that refuses to mimic

A living dead that refuses to die

A dead life that refuses to live

Yet...we still refuse to accept the truth.
