A crown of flowers

A crown of flowers

A Poem by SleeplessVolcano

Behind our sand dune

I found pink daisies

But I had to cross

the river mouth

For smiling orange poppies

Towards the cliffs

I found six shades of green

One more color

Played hide-and-seek

Until the incoming tide

Whispered, check the cave -

Knee-deep in foamy waves

Yellow beach sunflowers

Jumped into my basket "

The color palette now complete,

At last I can craft

Your crown of flowers.

Was my pleasure and you are welcome my dear friend.
simple and sweet sir! the romance of a man looking for flowers in the wild to crown his lady love is so .... romantic .. the yellow font is hard to read ... not sure what it is .. my computer .. WC .. or me eye balls .. i like the scene and action .. love the simplicity and the different colors jumps out at me instantly .. couldn't have found a better pic ...
