I think the key word here is HAD. It's strange how our concept of what is real love and commitment changes over time when we start seeing so many elements that do not fit the dream. I suppose it's as easy to fall out of love as it is to fall in...especially when the changes do not fit our ideals. A very lovely write Sue...highly charged with emotion and regret.
