A Nobody

A Nobody

A Poem by Suelou

A Nobody

I beg your pardon friend

It is me, who is a nobody

I’ve been that way my whole life

There is no changing that, now

I’m just a plain old simple girl

With a heart full of compassion

To give to all those I hold dear

Still, I am no one special

But, all of those I hold dear to my heart

Are indeed someone very special

Sue...you'll never be a nobody as far as I'm concerned. What makes you special is the fact you think you're not. Your special virtues far outnumber those of so many so called special people. Being human, possessing a warm and loving heart and compassion for all God's creatures, great or small always striving to better yourself through learning...and your humbleness makes you even more special.
