Scene of a summer's Night

Scene of a summer's Night

A Poem by SmittyJas

Scene of a summer's Night

It was a Scene of a summer's Night
In the land of the North, East & West
When the State Of North Dakota died
and the Red man move on to the western side

The white man would not rest
till the red man all have left
They brought there guns and knives,
To send the red man to his grave.

Peace out west was not won
by a peace pipe smoked,
It was won on the blood shed
of the red man's coat.

His buffalo Hide was his Pride,
with the horns of a buffalo
Rapped around his head.
after a mad hunt for the hide

With the bow and arrow
The red man seen the white
Man shoot down the buffalo
with his gun just for fun.

Ending the hunting grounds
for the neighboring Red man
And his sons and a way of life
by the stream and hills.

Where the buffalo roam
and the red man hunted
and now are buried in mounds
they talk and write about it still  l!!!!

The Indian was here first, the settlers should have tried to live in peace with them...not steal their land. Valentine

I love your poem but there are so many grammatical errors. Please look over them! Other than those, it was a wonderful poem!!!
