Squeezed

A Poem by Akira Kodama

She's the one who likes
A plastic face
Plastic eyes
Plastic everything in between
Designer clothes
Neon sign
But where can the real girl be seen?

Reputation is my mind
Appearance is my heart
Ego is my soul
Never found apart.

I suppose the self-esteem issue would be the problem for most women who indulge in such artificial intelligence. What they have isn't good enough or they just don't want to do the work it takes to improve. This is a good observation and not one I see often here. Good poem. (Relic...this is my other account).

Mine personally? No.
Perhaps people put up a superficial wall to keep the heart protected... there could be a vulnerable or insecure heart in there... some people are more fragile that you think...

Well penned... lovely flow of words~ :)

reminds me of that song, Fake Plastic trees, love that song actually. Thought provocating write, but whats more and for some reason catches my eye the last stanzas acrostic backwards is "near" I don't know why that caught my eye...I've never had plastic surgery, but my sister has and she's very much still, a real person with real feelings...just saying.

Thats a very good point too.
I loved this poem! it makes me really acknowledge the fact that so many girls today are getting plastic surgery, to fix minuscule flaws that no one notices, I don't get it, why they are unable to be satisfied with their own bodies, content with their natural beauty.. this was a lovely write, great job!

your welcome :)
I always wondered what some men see in that plastic barbie doll type...perfection only on the outside, vain to the hilt, yet on the inside raw sewage of putrid stupidity....the outside reflection of the perfect plastic shape doesn't know how to love, only in the moment and doesn't last long...but the real women with all her faults would move heaven and earth for man and they are passed by without a second glance.....I really enjoyed this ink creation of yours, Black Market Chemo, speaks volumes so thank you for sharing
