O Fragile Heart

O Fragile Heart

A Poem by Adam M. Snow
"

This mechanical heart, beating slowly -- imperfectly. Such fragile, like glass

O Fragile Heart
Written by Adam M. Snow

This mechanical heart,
beating slowly
-- imperfectly.
Such fragile, like glass
to fall apart,
-- shattered
as moments pass.
-- Beating,
-- depleting,
as it stops,
-- silent.

Coming from an old school Metal Head, THIS IS METAL !

Very powerful, yet simple. It does a good job conveying a great message. The picture does what it needs to convey the image yet I found myself more drawn to that than the words a bit.

So much conveyed in so few words. Not easy to do, my friend, but you nailed it. Kudos!

I love how simple the poem is; while still conveying power and a lot of emotion.

Powerful and worthwhile use of words. The reader felt the pain of a dying heart. No wasted words. just outstanding poetry shared Adam.
