tree poem

A Poem by Snowfrost Moth

my
leaves
are green they
flash in the sun they
rustle and whisper about
the rains the good earth I thank
Jah for my boughs my sturdy trunk
my roots
drinking
the wet
nurturing
soil I am
only one glad tree in the forest
and we are all so full of life joy
