Just Remain

Just Remain

A Poem by Carlton Rolle

Words upon words, blanket the canvas.

Tested to a faulty degree.

The lines knows no bounds.

Great wars engulf the sacred chambers.

Little lord slumbers as the battles begin to rage on.

This is the death.

An opportunity of life to exist beyond this grim.

The smoke is hazy.

Birds don't chirp as loudly as they used to.

It's all in the mind.

Trapped inside as they fight outward.

A sign of what's to come.

Bloated, hungry, and angry.

Pushing on.

Sleep little one.

Your time is coming soon.

Just remain.
