Shows Way

Shows Way

A Poem by Carlton Rolle

A storm-front approaches from the coastal waters.

Threatening to strip away all we were.

I wonder if the council will understand these matters?

They normally never do.

It’s about the weirdness to survive.

To live in the present.

But think in the past.

There won’t be much time.

Little work that can be done.

A force majeure if ever.

The capsule.

Made for those select in the punishment of greed.

Powers brought on through the manifestation of desire.

A God shows A Soul’s way.

His evocation.

Worldly destruction.
