stuck in the moment

stuck in the moment

A Poem by Carlton Rolle

You know.

You really are.

Just there. Stuck trying to go peacefully, but stuck.

What is it that holds you back from the slumber which you clearly yearn?

Fortified mental capacities forced to work under scrutinized circumstances.

For what? A Shot? A glance? A glimmer?

Nervousness spilled all over your tee.

You know.

You really are.
