You Knew

You Knew

You knew.

Several hours of abundant love.

Enjoy the collected time.

Treasure it.

Uncomfortable in beginning the actions.

But eventually, quite the Captain.

A small secret was exchanged.

Too much to explain.

But not enough to hold onto.

Expose yourself.

Let loose.

Be grounded and fallback.

Hidden flames rose to the occasion.

Cascading rain pours from the sky.

Swept away by the full-powered A/C.

Interconnected in the elements.

Acknowledging our spirits.

You knew that you’d only have me once.
