Head First

Head First

A Poem by Carlton Rolle

Time has been a constant reminder of the life I choose.

Never stopping for a single curve.

Head first, I dive into the rush.

Catch me if I'm crushed.

Or when the sun goes by.

Lighten up the world and darkening the sky.

My manor swings as time drifts by.
