Static and Dynamic

Static and Dynamic

A Poem by K Antonacci

Blowing off steam :)

I care not if you care to address me,
Your time or attention means nothing at all,
Accusations only breed hatred,
And will, for all around this, be the downfall.
I care not if you don’t approve of my ways,
You shall shed grace unto heaven with yours,
Gossip queen like I have never seen,
Throw away the key when you unlock those glittering doors.
“I don’t understand where you’re coming from.”
“Why doesn’t that bother you?”
Maybe I’m different than you?
Has that ever for a second crossed your mind?
I refuse to become a copy of your culture
So leave me to unravel and unwind.
You look down on me, although I am taller.
I could take you down father than you thought you could go
And I’d rip you apart at the seams
And drag you up and down to let you know
I will never be you.
And you will never be me.
