Follow The Leader

Love is eternal,

Life, extended,

and in this effervescent surrounding I find myself,

there is nothing.

Beauty distorts to disorder,

and imperfection gravitates towards my feelings of contempt.

Living becomes only an insatiable vanity to the breath we take.

It is in-between those breaths,

that there is nothing.

A feeling once reserved has been extracted.

Bled out by the fictional pursuit of greater feeling.

One could look at this life and say,

“That is what I want,” yet the madness only adds to the mumbling.

Through truly living,

our immortality has withered and died.
Love cannot exist through a bitter numbness so full of life.
It is the taste that even in our darkest days,

our lonely lives,

and our tired hours,

that we dream of having.

It is the other side of the greener grass as you cross over the fence.

The feelings of regret that wash over you.

To live, is to die.

To die, is to have lived.

To love, is to dive.

Deeper than your breath could possible take you.

Consumed by the immense volume of the pressure.

It is here you will take your last breath.

It is here that you were never truly breathing at all.
