Suicide Dreams

Suicide Dreams

A Poem by John Dennis Gillespie
"

This is more of a love poem than a suicide poem. Please no worries.

"
Drown your sorrows in the bottom of this Jack Daniel.
For harder nights, we'll drink harder liquor and have harder sex because of it.
This is our attempt to fade away as we begin to fade into the gray.
These demons will try to tear your heart away from mine and this will lead me to my grave.
Because on that day, I will pull that trigger.
On that day, I will grab that noose.
Because living life without you is a suicide dream.
Each dream without you is a suicide dream.
Each scene without you is a suicide dream.
