Senseless Senses

Senseless Senses

A Poem by John Dennis Gillespie

I can find the beauty in the ogre.
I can find the humanity in the alienated.
I can find the good in Lucifer.
If you felt like lunging yourself from this suburban skyscraper will hide your insecurities then you have senseless senses.
I can see the depression in your smile.
I can see the slouch within your dance.
I can see the pain within your remedy.
If you felt like lunging yourself from this suburban skyscraper will make me blind to your inhibitions then you have senseless senses.
I can feel the desperation within your hugs.
I can feel the bitterness within your love.
I can feel the need for silence within your voice.
If you felt like lunging yourself from this suburban skyscraper will make me stop holding your hand than you have senseless senses.

First off you've got an awesome name. Second, you've got a great poem to work with here and I think that the theme of never giving up is portrayed really well here.
