Purple Palate

Purple Palate

A Poem by Solilokiss
"

A play with purple

"
Softly, swaying, grapes on vines
Slink into my violet mind
Taint the views of Byzantine
Paints in plumes of plums and wines
Lax you, lightly, in my kiss
Of boysenberry amethyst
Periwinkles in your hair
Curl all your dreams into my care
See you swoon, marooning, too,
Lost enchantments flirt with you
Electric eminence in the air
Violent purple everywhere

I've been swept away by violent purple, you play'd it well, charmi'd read Soliokiss.

I really like this, the idea of words bursting into colour, I always associate poetry with painting
and you have painted a picture here in a soft yet vibrant way
