The Boy Who Drifted Around

The Boy Who Drifted Around

A Poem by Soma-ko
"

Sometimes we can't find what we're looking for... Because they too, are looking for us.

"

Inside these dark woods,

Lay a tender soul so bare.

He wanders the lightless forest,

Day in and day out.

He searches for me,

I, who left him there.

I hear him in my dreams,

Calling to me in tears.

A spirit so pure,

But so lost and isolated.

How many tears have he shed?

The lonely Boy Who Drifted Around the forest.

Day in and day out,

I search for him,

But he can’t seem to find me.

Day in, and day out…

This is really touching, quite haunting...if he happens upon a lost little girl, tell her I'm looking for her :)
