Thoughts

A thought came to muffle the sound  

Of this moment and everything it has placed around

me

 

They aren’t mine but they seem to be,

They are nothing

I am disturbing

They are smothering

me

As I walk throughout the croud

Please, please Lord.. don’t say them out loud

 

Why are these thoughts?

And why are they so loud?

 

They just take over and surge throughout my head,

 As shame covers my face and tucks me into bed
