Sitting Beside

I was watching a programme and I thought randomly went through my head, and, as you do, I wrote it down...Hope you like it :)

I sit beside my collegues

And watch the class begin

I wonder what would happen

If I tried to join in

 

Would they laugh?

Would they leer?

Would they joke?

Or would they sneer?

 

I'm not going to risk it

I'm not going to join in

I'll just sit here by the side

And try to hold my sadness within

 

Nobody knows it

And that way it shall stay

I am independent

In my own and unique way.
