Day After Day

A poem that Christ dictated to me during prayer this past week.

Every day, I watch from above;
I watch you as your life plays out.
Every day, I offer my love,
Even though you constantly doubt
Day after day after day….

Every dawn, I renew your life
And plan you another day of hope.
When the sun rises, I give you light
To see your way up the winding slope
Day after day after day….

Every night, I guard you in sleep
And take extra care with all of your dreams.
Every night, when the dark grows deep
I sit with you to hear your soul sing
Day after day after day….

Live in my love now, dearest of hearts;
Look in my eyes, your beauty to see,
And know that before your life could start
I held you close; you’re precious to me.
Day after day after day….
