Tomorrow

Tomorrow

A Poem by Soumya Deouskar
"

Reflecting what we are today.

"
What are we inventing for tomorrow?
If we haven't repaired,
The broken pieces of ourselves.
If we haven't cleaned the rusted wires
Of our connections.
If we haven't washed
Our memories again.
If we haven't seen
ourselves in the mirror of today.
If we haven't felt the dawn breeze.
What are we inventing for tomorrow?
If we still act as gods,
But ruin our lives for the same?
If we are selling our books of life,
To money, greed and fame.
If we have taught ourselves ,
To Be scared of being wrong.
I wonder what tomorrow has for me,
Because I am sure in times of today,
The inventor of the my future,
Is not me.
