Slow Dancing to Infinity

Slow Dancing to Infinity

A Poem by Fréyjä Helvití

Once upon a memory...

My thoughts came back from oblivion,

From what was once my lonely nights.

Shifting gazes on busy streets, you came to me

Where you left me on one look,

By the train station I was captured, By the city lights I was dazed, Hypnotized, flickering disco lights Slow dancing to beating hearts in a haze, Infinity...

Here my dreams turn to reality, As we yield to our sleepless eyes, demise. Left us whispers, fading to forever No more lonely songs to sing tonight. Infinity...

Now we chase the intergalactic fantasy, And I'll slow dance with you to infinity. As romances from here on then, And my Saturday nights will never be the same again. Infinity...

As amazing as this poem gets, the way you use the word in a manner to which we could feel the sadness behind it, really is amazing.
