Omelette With Cheese

Omelette With Cheese

A Poem by SpeedOfTaste

The logistics of my omelette are complete
I would be satisfied if this were my last meal
I set out to the porch to eat
The morning seems unreal

A strange glow off in the distance
My gaze can't move from the mushroom cloud
The only thing that breaks the trance
My last meal that makes me proud

I just had a killer brekfast and thought of this. Not sure if this is technically correct poetry writing. Anyways I had fun with it. And if no one reviews it I will keep writing mindless dribble ;)

Keep writing mindless dribble...yes...please ;-)

Of course this is poetry...it f*****g rhymes doesn't it?? *laugh*

I wonder if it was a mushroom omelet? Now there would be some irony for you...

This is a good poem with good thought. It is in the form of a poem, so is, techiically poetry. You could have written it as prose, but it would not have been as effective.
