Celebration of the rich & happy

Celebration of the rich & happy

A Poem by Alexandria

Made from a perfect grape vine

a sip from Beringer vineyard

perfect music, perfect people; luxrious dancing and laughing

singing from the rich

carve a simple smile in the crowd

not an austere person in site

but pleanty of fescennine couples noses in the air

multi billionare

the blonde soaked in fur and dimonds

ought to have cheated on her husband many of times

the husband rich, cunning, so pretentious with his superficial knowledge

girls and boys the age of teens, hell of a people they will grow up to be

spoiled, and ungreatful and blind

as if they have nothing to worry about.

Ha!!

So i sit in this table with a grin on my face

my legs crossed I sip on this fantastic Beringer vineyard

I am a lamia in this party

I am the goddess in red

The precious flower soaked in silk

A mysteryious but well groomed man askes me to dance

I look up at him with my blue glittering eyes

and all he replys

" you look absolutely sensational"

why thank you sir its a pleasure to meet you.

the last few lines didn't really have any power to them, when you think about it, they don't convey anything, it's just a courtesy phrase. but you have a beautiful imagery, I can tell, you just need to pull it out more often. :)

heh...
you're very talented.
this was a very magnificent write, the line "ought to have cheated on her husband many of times

the husband rich, cunning, so pretentious with his superficial knowledge "...really conjures the reality...

like I said, you are very talented, despite of young age you had successfully captured some intelligent words and blend it in this poem, very good...

keep up the good work Lexi. You're gonna be great one day..

It must be nice...lol

Seriously, I enjoyed this poem. It was festive
and pointed out some social eccentricities in
a light hearted way.
