Ghostly Love

I written this poem around three years ago. Please tell me what you think.

Your love is like a ghost

it haunts me

I want to forget you

but you won't leave me be

 

I know you said it's over

I know you said goodbye

I want you to take me back

But you would rather die

 

So what am I suppose to do

If I can't have you anymore

This pain makes me sick

I only want you too adore

 

My heart's on the line...

I think it could still stand without the rythming. Something like (and this ONLY a suggestion from a non-expert):

Your love is like a ghost
it visits me still (cause "haunts me" has been used so many times by folks)

want to forget you,
leave me be

you said it is over,
you said good-bye

take me back,
my heart's on the line

Or something to that affect. Just some alternatives and/or suggestions. In the end, it's your words, your heart, your poem.
