Poem 45: Dreaming, (Part II), (A Short Story Put Into Poetry)

A Poem by Spirit Of Poetry

"Goodnight, mother."

Mother: "Goodnight, Amy."

As I closed my eyes, I had awoken into another land,

Not in the pink sky, I was on the ground, on the green sand,

Nothing in this reality, was ever bland,

My friend, Catherine, had come back, I gave her my hand,

We were running across the neon green hills,

Leaving this wonderful land, would give me chills,

I don't want to leave and I will not,

Even if it was compulsory, I would still not,

The pink sky turned purple,

It wasn't night, the land was still bright,

It was a different part of the day,

Rarely, the colour of the sky would ever change,

It was always ever strange,

As this was a rare moment to see,

It turned from pink to purple quite quickly.

No longer, was in the dream,

No longer, did I remain happy.
