A Letter for Mama

A Letter for Mama

A Story by Delilah Dunn

I hope this letter finds you nearly ageless at forty-nine, although I know that it will never pass through your gentle hands. Your legacy of love and of spirit have inhabited me with a presence stronger than forseen. Yet I am still found wanting without you here. I miss you.

My Momma passed away in 2004. This really touched my heart, thanks for sharing. Loved your bio by the way.

Aww...Mal, I think I'll come give you a hug now! This touched me in a very special way, the bond between mother and daughter transcends life and death and I know she can feel your words just as strongly as I.

Really good and such a touching 50 word story. This one made me tear up. I am so sorry for your loss.

Did you mean to write *nearly* ageless?

A heartfelt thank you for sharing this story.
